Day 18 – Laguna Beach

Good Morning! Friday, May 21st, 2021

I hope today you are observant of obviously overt operations of oratory outstandingness.

Things are well here. Yesterday was a nice day. I woke up here at Jule’s place and hung out with the family as the boys got ready for school and out the door. Once the boys were off at school, I headed down to Laguna Beach and the top of the world to meet up with my Friend Jhary.

There is a park nearby called the top of the world that I visited. It is the highest point for a long way and provided a good view of the area. From there, I headed down to the Coffee shop that Jule recommended to wait for Jhary and have some breakfast. The food and coffee were excellent. Once Jhary showed up, we started our catching up. First at the coffee shop, then on a nice walk all up and down the Laguna beach area, and then up into town. It was super good to catch up with him.

After Jhary and I went our separate ways, I headed back to Jules. The boys were back from school, and Jule finished work. I borrowed one of their bikes, and we went for a ride around the neighborhood. This place is pretty cool. It was developed about 15-20 years ago, and the way the whole community is set up has a super cool feel to it. We met some of the kids in the neighborhood along the bike ride and Jule’s friend Judy. We did some geocaching and then headed back to Jule’s house. One of Jule’s friends showed up, Debbie, and we all just hung out for a while outside. It was quite pleasant.

For dinner, we had homemade pizza. A guy in the neighborhood puts together pizza kits, and the proceeds go to charity. The kit comes with sauce, cheese, pepperoni, and two 220g dough balls. I had brought some salt-blade pepperoni to add to them as well.

After dinner, I played a little bit of VR with the boys, and then we shared some of our favorite YouTube channels with each other before heading off to bed.

I don’t know what today is going to bring yet 😉

Love ya!

From the top of the world you can see a looong way
From the top of the world you can see community of Laguna beach, and the ocean beyond.
This is as far down the beach as we walked, on the other side of the natural bridge it was going to be a flip flop disaster,
Jhary and me at the beach.
Laguna beach is an very cool little community.

Their is the “planetary path” In Jule’s neighborhood. All of the planets are represented. And each planet has a lady bug painted on it, and an “Easter egg” related to the planet.
