Good Morning! Sat, June 12th, 2021
I Bhopal that today surprises you with some joy, contentment, and happiness.
Yesterday was a nice easy day. I got up and had coffee and breakfast with Pat senior, and we had just a wonderful visit. He has had such an interesting life. It was a joy to hear his stories and learn more about his family history.
After I left Pat, I set my sights on getting to Liberty Lake to see Judy, Balin, Sam, and Perrin. Bonus… Balin’s folks Mike and Sue are here as well, so I got to spend some time with them. They were all spending the day out and about, so there was no rush to get there before they would, so I had a nice, pleasurably paced day.
This lazy pace allowed me the chance to pull over in a little campground to make some coffee, set up my Hammock, and read and nap for a little bit. The campground is in Montana, and they have a horse corral for each of the campsites. I had a nice little walk down to the stream while I was there as well.
From there, I continued on highway 2. I decided to stop in Bonner’s Ferry, Idaho. What a super cool little town. I spent at least an hour in their little history museum, which was quite interesting. After the museum, I stopped at the rusty moose to grab a burger and fries for lunch, and that was quite good.
I arrived at Judy and Balin’s, and we had a wonderful evening of catching up and playing Yahtzee. Both Perrin and Sam are turning into regular adults. Sam is driving, and Perrin is just about there.
Today the plan is to head on over to Aunt Do’s and visit with her and Uncle Tom.
Love ya
Dan W
